Join me for a person-centered expressive arts practice that you can then share with your clients! About This Experience: I incorporate art into my daily life in various ways. I often use art as a means of processing during or after therapy sessions, and I also offer these invitations to clients. I am trained through the Person-Centered Ex Art program, created by Natalie Rogers. Cultivate an expressive creation! This is not art therapy (I will explain more during our sessions). When: Starting October 28th What: sliding scale sessions for therapists, helpers, coaches, and healers of all kinds. Goal: Learn how to incorporate creative expression with your clients What to bring: Your own art supplies (pen, paper, art journal, water color, colored pencils, or any craft-type materials you have around). Commitment: Please attend one session or all 8, but kindly notify me if you are signed up but won't be able to participate.
Here are some thoughts about how I hold the Person Centered Expressive Arts: it is for YOU, it can be magic, we will invite breath, compassion and aim to be easy with ourselves. I believe as many before us have suggested — if we are not mindful we won’t really benefit as much from the expressive arts, so I weave meditation into the art invitation. You may know Natalie Rogers but in case you don’t she is the founder of this particular technique:

Here is one offering for now so you can feel it in your bones.
Stop reading this blog/invitation and gather any creative supplies you have near by, write an inspirational sentence to yourself in your notes app on your phone.
Try to stop once daily for 5 minutes, and then little by little we can add a cultivation/creative habit in as well.
Cultivating time for creativity has so many benefits. Email me with questions and I look forward to seeing you on October 21st and one or all of the 8 Tuesday’s after that!
Warmly,
Bridget
