The Dilemma of the Racial Misstep

Most people enter conversations about race and bias with a quiet, underlying panic: the paralyzing fear of saying the wrong thing. Or, they are caught in this misguided moment of dismantling conversations about structural and systemic issues on race that we face every day. Where would you like to sit: continuing the work you began after the murder of George Floyd, or disengaging from the still-very-much-needed conversation about how to connect across perceived differences?
This four-part workshop is designed to move participants away from defensive perfectionism and toward authentic, resilient relationships.
Middle School Support Program
The move from elementary to middle school brings significant changes—new social expectations, increased academic demands, and growing independence. Our program supports families through this transition with simultaneous Youth and Parent groups.

I work with Lyra an employee assistance plan, this service is covered by your employer
I will provide you with a receipt for the services rendered if you choose to seek reimbursement for services through your insurance policy. This is typically called a super bill.
Fees for services are customary with other therapists in San Francisco, CA.
Payment is due at the time of each appointment. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Credit card payments can be made here on this page and/or through my online portal.
I often reference Alexis J. Cunningfolk’s green bottle scale. You can read the whole blog here. I offer her funds each year to pay her for this labor.
